A QUICK CHECK FIRST
What you’ll need
- Your ZivoPlay access details: an M3U playlist link or Xtream Codes (server URL, username and password). We provide both formats—choose the one you prefer that your player supports.
- A Fire TV device connected to your television and broadband.
- An Amazon account for the Appstore; exact model details from Settings > My Fire TV (or Device & Software) > About.
Check the model first. Fire OS and Vega OS devices have different app compatibility; an Android APK is not a universal Fire TV installer.
Returning after a renewal? Check your existing setup first. Don’t delete a working playlist unless you need to replace its details.
Let’s get you connected.
0 of 5 steps complete- 01
Identify your Fire TV before installing
Open Settings and look under My Fire TV or Device & Software, then About. Note the model and software. If an old guide shows menus you do not have, stop and send support the model name. Keep an already-working player installed while checking a renewal.
Good to knowVega OS and Fire OS are different platforms. Ask for an app compatible with your exact model rather than following an APK download code from an unrelated video.
- 02
Install a supported player
From the home screen, open Find or Search and enter the name of the player confirmed for your device. Select the matching app listing, check its publisher and choose Get or Download. Open it when installation finishes. If it is unavailable, ask support before trying another installer.
- 03
Choose M3U or Xtream Codes
ZivoPlay provides both M3U and Xtream Codes. Choose either supported option in your player, then follow the matching instructions below. You only need to add your account once.
Use Xtream CodesServer URL + username + password
- Select Xtream Codes or XC API in your player.
- Name the connection ZivoPlay.
- Enter the server URL, username and password provided by ZivoPlay in the three matching fields.
- Save or sign in, then let the channel list load.
Use M3UOne complete playlist link
- Select M3U, Playlist URL or Add playlist in your player.
- Name the playlist ZivoPlay.
- Paste the complete M3U link provided by ZivoPlay into the playlist URL field. Do not shorten it or split out its login details.
- Save or load the playlist, then let the channel list load.
For a TV app managed on its publisher’s website, use the same choice there if offered. If only one format is supported, use that one. Need your details again? Contact ZivoPlay.
Good to knowUse ZivoPlay as the playlist name. Keep the address exactly as supplied, including http/https and any port. A full M3U link and an Xtream Codes server URL are different fields; do not swap them.
- 04
Load the list and try a channel
Save the connection and allow the initial channel list to load. Open Live TV, choose a channel from your package and check picture and sound. Set your device clock to automatic and its time zone to London so the programme guide follows UK time.
Good to knowIf the guide is empty but channels play, refresh the EPG inside the player. Only add an EPG URL if ZivoPlay has supplied one.
- 05
Make it easy to find next time
Add the player to your convenient app shortcuts where your Fire TV supports this. Keep your ZivoPlay access details somewhere safe. On renewal, refresh the existing playlist first; only replace the login if our team supplied new details.
IF SOMETHING GETS IN THE WAY
Common Fire TV Stick questions
I cannot install an APK or find the same settings
Your model may use Vega OS or a different software version. Use its own Appstore and check compatibility with support. Instructions for an older Fire OS device may not apply.
My username or password is rejected
Check for spaces introduced when copying, letter case and the exact server address. Use the IPTV login provided by ZivoPlay, not your email password. If it still fails, ask support to check the account’s expiry and current connection details.
The channel keeps buffering
Try an HD stream, close playback on other devices and compare several channels. If everything buffers, restart the player and test Ethernet or a stronger Wi-Fi connection. Avoid repeatedly reinstalling the app; it can remove your saved login and favourites.
